1. Acceptance of Terms
   By accessing the Talaash website or app, creating an
   account, or buying, selling, or connecting through
   Talaash, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you
   do not agree, please do not use Talaash.
2. Eligibility
   Talaash is built for university/school students and alumni in
   Pakistan. To use Talaash, you must:
   Be at least 18 years old
   Be a currently enrolled student or verified
   alumnus/alumna of a recognized institution,
   verified via university email or other proof we
   accept
   Provide accurate account information and keep it
   up to date
   We may suspend or reject accounts that fail
   verification or that we reasonably believe were
   created fraudulently.
3. Talaash’s Role
   Talaash is a marketplace and community platform.
   We connect buyers and sellers — we are not a party to
   any transaction between users, do not take ownership
   of listed items, and do not guarantee the quality,
   safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing. Any
   agreement to buy or sell is solely between the buyer
   and seller.
4. Listings and Marketplace Rules
   When you post a listing, you confirm that:
   You own the item or have the right to sell it
   The listing is accurate — condition, price, and
   photos genuinely represent the item
   The item is legal to sell and does not violate these
   Terms
   Prohibited items and content include, but are not
   limited to: weapons, drugs or drug paraphernalia,
   counterfeit goods, stolen items, academic material
   intended to facilitate cheating (e.g., sold exam papers,
   contract-written assignments), adult content, and
   anything illegal under Pakistani law. Talaash may
   remove any listing that violates these rules without
   notice.
5. User Conduct
   You agree not to:
   Impersonate another person or misrepresent your
   student/alumni status
   Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other
   users
   Use Talaash for spam, scams, or fraudulent
   transactions
   Attempt to circumvent verification, safety
   features, or these Terms
   Scrape, copy, or misuse Talaash’s platform or user
   data
   We may warn, suspend, or permanently remove
   accounts that violate this section.
6. Transactions and Payments
   Unless a transaction is explicitly processed
   through Talaash’s in-app payment feature (where
   available), payment and item exchange are
   arranged directly between buyer and seller.
   Where Talaash facilitates payment or payouts,
   applicable fees will be disclosed before you
   confirm the transaction.
   Users are responsible for exercising reasonable
   caution when meeting in person or exchanging
   payment — Talaash recommends meeting in safe,
   public, on- or near-campus locations.
7. Safety and Disputes
   Talaash provides reporting tools for suspicious
   listings, users, or transactions. We may investigate
   reports and take action, including removing content or
   suspending accounts, but Talaash is not responsible
   for resolving disputes between users or for losses
   arising from a transaction gone wrong. Users are
   encouraged to resolve disputes directly and to report
   bad actors to Talaash and, where appropriate, to the
   relevant authorities.
8. Intellectual Property
   The Talaash name, logo, app, and website content
   (excluding user-submitted listings and messages)
   belong to Talaash and may not be copied or used
   without permission. By posting a listing, you grant
   Talaash a license to display that content on the
   platform for the purpose of operating the
   marketplace.
9. Limitation of Liability
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, Talaash is not
   liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential
   damages arising from your use of the platform,
   including losses related to a transaction between
   users. Talaash’s total liability for any claim relating to
   the platform is limited to the fees, if any, you paid to
   Talaash in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Account Termination
    You may delete your account at any time. Talaash
    may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these
    Terms, engage in fraud, or pose a risk to other users,
    with or without notice depending on severity.
11. Changes to These Terms
    We may update these Terms as Talaash grows.
    Continued use of Talaash after changes take effect
    means you accept the updated Terms. Material
    changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
12. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic
    Republic of Pakistan.
