university students and alumni to buy, sell, and
connect within a trusted community. This Privacy

By creating an account or using Talaash, you agree to

We do not sell your personal information.

With other users, as needed to complete a listing
or transaction (e.g., a seller sees a buyer’s name
and contact details once a deal is arranged, and
vice versa)
With service providers who help us run Talaash

contacting us (subject to what we’re required to
keep for legal, safety, or record-keeping reasons) - Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational
measures — including encryption in transit, access
controls, and secure storage — to protect your
information. No method of transmission or storage is
completely secure, and we encourage users to also
take care when meeting for transactions and sharing
personal details. - Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account
is active and as needed to provide our services,
resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet
legal or regulatory requirements. When no longer
needed, we delete or anonymize it. - Children’s Privacy
Talaash is intended for university students and
alumni. It is not directed at children, and we do not
knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. - Cookies
